"Metalasia" is a Progressive Heavy Metal band formed in 1997, at first King Shah was actually a producer for this band, but later joined the band when he saw the potential of "Metalasia" which can change the metal scene in Malaysia. They took Malay epic/nature/life as their lyrical theme, which is considered rare in Malaysia and this is why they are much different from other metal bands found in Asia.

The higher technical difficulties of guitar riffs made by King Shah was superb and if you listen carefully to the guitar melody, you'll actually find the sound has a similarities to the U.S legendary band called "Cacophony". They were one of a few Malaysian Thrash Metal bands who ever toured to Japan and Korea.

Influences: Marty Friedman, John Patrucci (Dream Theater), Rhapsody of Fire, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen and Jason Becker.

Axology: Ibanez guitars (Universe 7-strings and RG Series) and Line6 Amplifiers
